The theme for the 2026-2028 Administration is Rooted in Purpose – Growing Through Community. This is not merely a phrase. It is a promise. It is a declaration that though we each bring different gifts, different experiences, and different perspectives to this table, we are bound together by something greater than ourselves. We are bound by a shared mission, a common cause, and an unshakeable commitment to this organization and the community it serves.

Our Mission

Loma Prieta District (LPD) is affiliated with the California Federation of Women’s Clubs (CFWC) and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

We support the clubs of our district in reaching the goals of these organizations. LPD was formed in 1955 to unify clubs in Monterey County, San Benito County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, and Santa Cruz County.

OUR VISION

To inspire and empower member clubs to improve the quality of life in their communities through service, leadership, education, and advocacy. We will provide training, foster collaboration, and celebrate the accomplishments of clubs as they advance the mission of GFWC, CFWC, and other charitable, educational, and civic initiatives.
